With This Ring is especially proud to be a conduit, a resource and sounding board for the entire Marriage Equality movement, which extends far beyond the GLBT community to encompass a commnity of liberal, diversity-minded individuals around the world who are commited to ensuring that all people have the opportunity to experience love in all its deepest speldor—without regard for the meaningless labels that are too often used to divide and discriminate.

Media Kit + Distribution

With This Ring plans to roll out a national print edition with city-specific supplemental content, beginning with a spring weddings issue (as soon as sufficient capital can be raised through investment and advertising sources). In the interim, the brand will build and gain market traction online.

Once in print, circulation will adopt a controlled direct-to-consumer model, delivering free copies of the magazine to boutique stores, restaurants, florists, hotels, and other hospitality locations in major GLBT-friendly market around the United States.

In order to accomplish its goal of serving the needs of the Marriage Equality community, With This Ring must look to that same community—individuals who believe in freedom of choice, equal opportunity, and the primacy of love—for financial, logistical, and moral support.

In short, absent a relationship with the community its supports, With This Ringhas no place: it aims to prosper with, for, and because of the Marriage Equality community.

Investment in the magazine might take the form of cash infusion, or industry relationships, services in-kind that facilitate the magazine's growth and longevity, or advertising. The rewards, of course, are likewise manifold:

• Personal satisfaction from helping further the cause of Marriage Equality;

• Intellectual excitement from launching a new magazine amid a challenging period for the media industry;

• Significant financial upside, since WIth This Ring is the ONLY all-inclusive weddings magazine in the country, and the same-sex weddings market in particular represents an untapped source of wealth and brand loyalty.

With This Ring's publisher is currently seeking business partners to fill our our launch team, across a variety of expertise and skill set, inclusind the following:

With This Ring is being developed by the same team that published Citizen Culture and earned high honors from the Magazine Publishers of America, as well as the moniker "A New Yorker for a New Generation."

Potential partners in the current venture should be ambitious entrepreneurs who want to replicate and exceed our prior accomplishments vis-a-vis a mission-driven publication—both online and in print.

Develop

Although the statistics on new magazine launches are never favorable, With This Ring re-enters the fray with two significant truths in its favor:

• The "Marriage Equality genie has been let out of the bottle," and

• The marketplace has been left wide open as larger magazine publishers have generally neglected non-traditional weddings altogether.

Furthermore, WIth This Ring recognizes that, based on weddings' fundamentally sentimental nature, if the magazine is going to find relevance in the daily lives of its readers, it must represent their needs, desires, and perspectives.

To ensure that the magazine represents the community, we are seeking a wide variety of content and marketing partnerships, with an eye to cross-promotion and mutual success—measured not only financially but in terms of the expansion of the Marriage Equality movement.
